A block machine is a piece of special equipment that you could use on manufacturing various types of bricks such as hollow bricks, solid bricks, perforated bricks, interlocking bricks, and so forth. You could make bricks with fly ash, slag, gauge, and construction rubbish. The machines that you use to build hollow blocks are known as hollow block machine. The blocks are available in a standard size of 440×215 mm and a standard thickness of both 144 & 215 mm.
It is the standard size configuration of a hollow block. A hollow block is also known as the Concrete Masonry Unit made by concrete blocks making machines. It is a block that one can use as one of the precast in the concrete of any building.
Different uses of Concrete Hollow Block Machine
Hollow blocks are often useful in building large structures like boundary fences, and so forth. The reduced usage in the amount of concrete is useful in making a block with significant control in the cost used. Their lightweight makes them very easy to lift. It is the basic foundation of any buildings.
Types of hollow block machines
The machines that are used to build hollow blocks are known as hollow block machines. There are certain types of hollow blocks, and they are:
1. Manual version
2. Semi-Automatic version
3. Mobile version
Let’s discuss each of them in detail:
1. Manual Version
The manual hollow blocks are used to press the block on the pallets. Its price is lower than the automatic and mobile versions. There are two main sections in a manual version:
- Movable section
- Stationary section
The movable section is the one that presses the concrete on the ground, and the stationary is the one that presses the pallet. The manual version is of two types:
- Single motor
- Double motor.
The single motor is used while you need to make hollow blocks only. The second motor is mostly needed for paving block production.
2. Semi-Automatic Version
A semi-automatic is a machine that you can use to make both manual work and automatic work in the process. The price of making a semi-automatic machine is much higher than the manual version. It is because the machine used is costly when considered to the manual version. Choosing a semi-automatic is a way of reducing a workforce, and it works like a forklift.
3. Mobile Version
The mobile version hollow block machine is also known as the hollow block laying machine. Unlike the other types, it directly presses on the ground to make hollow blocks. The process and machine of this mobile version are costlier than any of the other processes. These machines reduce the workforce much.
How Hollow Block Machine is different from other Machines?
Hollow block machines are not only used to make hollow blocks but also used in making blocks of any shapes. The manual hollow block machine is different from other machines in terms of the working process. In a manual process, you need to employ many workers to carry out the blocks from the working place.
